Sorry, I thought I was trying to be helpful. Maybe you could start a positive discussion about D2 swimming?
How about the strength of D2 swimmers from Dayton Oakwood? Three of the fastest swimmers in the state in Goertemiller, Turner and the freshman fenom Mulcare.
Looking at the psych sheets and without running the numbers, it looks like the D2 state meet will be competitive for the team title. Unlike the past, University does not look as dominant. The top of the meet will be very fast. Dayton Oakwood looks formidable. Also, is Crane injured? Didn't see him listed in University's entries.
Add to that a 22.57 backstroke split on the DQed medley. That's the fastest backstroke split since Jayme Cramer's lead off (22.00) in the 2000 meet. Certainly his lead leg in the 200 free is the fastest ever in the state meet. The only other sub 20 splits have been with a relay start.
