Nice run for IV but I think it ends in a loss. That schedule is atrocious and there are probably hundreds of kids in this state who could put up great stats against that competition. 6 of their 10 regular season games were against teams outside the top 400 in the state…
Exactly. One of the worst schedules in Ohio, regardless of division. It’s gonna be a rude awakening when the speed and athleticism of Perkins takes the field come Saturday night.

They beat a good Taft team, Kirtland never plays a tough schedule (yeah, they play Perry) yet they do fine in the playoffs. Perkins was just fortunate Liberty Center was D5 considering what LC did to Edison and Napolean.

Taft’s best win was against a 6 loss Alter team and they lost to a 5-6 Withrow team. Good is about as far as I would go describing Taft.

Watched some Indian Valley and I’ll say this….Perkins is likely to win with a running clock. IV wouldn’t have made it out of the second round in either region 13 or 14

Looking at the schedules. I honestly don’t see IV winning more than 4 games off the Perkins schedule. I hope it’s a close game but I don’t think it will be.

I'm not a fan of either team. However, being from Tuscarawas County I will be rooting for Indian Valley. You guys from Perkins running your traps so much about IV's schedule is funny. Everyone knows you can't look at schedules and even if they played some of the same teams you can't look at scores. It's always about matchups on the field. But keep running your traps! I guarantee you have not seen any running game this season like the IV running game in particular Kinsey. Don't be shocked when you look at the final score and you see yourselves on the short end of the stick!

I think it all boils down to whether or not IV can run the ball on Perkins
Agreed. The thing for Perkins is they don’t have a true weakness. The same can’t be said for IV as they’re obviously one dimensional and have given up points to average offenses.

It’s crazy to say IV would only win 4 games on Perkins schedule though. They’re obviously a good team.

Perkins played the 6th hardest schedule in D4(putting up historic stats), beat one Mr.Football finalist and then turned around and beat the 2 time defending champs. You really honestly think they will be surprised by anything on the field??

There's no way on God's green earth Michigan should have beaten Ohio State. We'll, it happened. So yeah, I believe they can be surprised by something that happens on the field.

Was Ohio State surprised or was it just poor execution and bad QB play?

You guaranteed Perkins had never seen a running game like IV and I’m saying that’s just not the case. They’ve played just about every style this year against much better competition than IV has. I didn’t think that was such a crazy statement seeing as Perkins will clearly be the best team IV has seen. Are we willing to say for sure IV is better than Harvest Prep, Edison, Ontario and Glenville?

We can give a kid credit for his stats while also pointing out the fact he racked up 1/3 of his regular season stats in the first two games against Meadowbrook and Ellet…

Really dont know how that will go till they play. Competition is what it is but that doesn't necessarily mean that IV cant run on Perkins. Last year they said we couldnt run on Steubenville but as a sophomore Kinsey went for 196 and 3 tds. Gotta just play it out

Man I was told about the Perkins fanbase and they do not fail to disappoint. You will be hard pressed to find an IV fan to argue back and forth with you and trash talk your team, not our style. We will figure it out on the field, see you Saturday!
This place wouldn’t be much fun if people didn’t back their teams. Having that “holier than thou” mentality is just as arrogant btw.

Kinsey racked up those stats in 27 quarters of play. So a little under 7 games. It's not like he played all 40 quarters and was padding his stats.
