2008 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, DETROIT REDWINGS

Home opener is Thursday night against the MapleLiefs, who just happens to be my 2nd favorite team.....should be a great season for the WINGS!!!!

Thoughts on Detroit throughout the season.......

Being a Leafs fan. im very excited for tomorrow night,
should be a great year, but i don't think hockeytown repeats

Best front office in hockey. The fact that they rolled two full generations of winners out with no break is a ---- of an accomplishment in today's world.

Took one on the chin, 3-2 last night in the opener but maybe it will be a make up call!!!!

Best of luck to Toronto the rest of the way!!!!!!

Detroit 0-1-0

What a game that ended up in disappointment......

Can't believe Detroit lost a 5-2 lead in the third, but atleast we salvaged a point.....

Detroit now up to 17-4-4...

Does NBC still broadcast the NHL every Saturday or have they cancelled that?

Obviously they will not show them during college football because of Notre Dame but do they still have the contract going.

I do go to the Cyclones games when i get the chance but I do love watching the NHL on NBC...

Go WINGS!!!

I'm not sure if NBC is still doing it or not....

Versus still televises NHL as well as the NHL Network.

Thanks, I heard something about NBC not doing the broadcasts or having a saturday night feature but i could not remember. Unfortunatly I do not get versus so I cannot watch the games...

The Red Wings come away winners in the Winter Classic in Chicago by beating the Blackhawks, 6-4. The Wings improve there record to 25-7-5...

Great game to watch especially afte the Wings were down 3-1 after the first period...I also now know that NBC is still showing the games unless it was just a special showing...

GO WINGS!!!

Red Wings shutout Columbus last night 3-0, scoring all three goals in the 3rd period. Ty Conklin got his fourth shutout of the season and extended his home scoreless streak to 138 minutes and 46 seconds...

Chris Chelios who just after recieving his medicare card played in his NHL record 880th regular season game breaking the tie with NHL hall of famer and defensemen Scott Stevens...

The Wings' improve there record now to 27-7-5...

GO WINGS!!!

NBC will continue their sunday afternoon games, starting on the 18th of January.. this is how it has worked the last two years.. show the classic, then wait two weeks
