D7 R25 2022

This is my call to all schools located in Warren who have turf. Do NOT make your stadium available for week 11 or beyond - just so JFK has to play outside of Warren 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 - make them play in Niles! or Boardman! 😂
Do any of the JFK faithful know where they will host playoff games yet ? Howland? I've heard there is a conflict with JFK's week 10 game and it may be moved from Howland. Will they go back to Fitch? Is this accurate or official yet? The JFK boys have no idea what a homefield advantage is this year with the Mollenkopf situation. 6 away games, 2 @ Howland, 1 @ Fitch, and 1 unknown, so much for the home cookin'.

Liberty I think. 10 games, 10 fields

I think they have a running clock, maybe in the first half. Lowellville is unlikely to lose at this point, look at the schedule they play. Springfield is a shell of who they were, people talk about Ridge and Milton, look at who they have played. Ridge has played Leetonia and Labrae, possibly two of the worst teams in the area, and 1 win Reserve and NF. Fun Fact - Milton beats NF by 2, Champion beat NF by 4, JFK beat down Champion by 30 with subs in the entire 4th. Everyone can cheer Lowellville and hype them up with the numbers they are racking up. I concur its not their fault, and Vinny Ballone is a special talent but when the time comes and they roll into the playoffs with a 10-0 record, don't be surprised when they get buried against a contender.
Agreed. I'm going to need to see it this week. Their opponents are a combined 2-14. If they blast J-M by 40, I'll believe then that maybe they can run the table. Let's also see what happens in the Mineral Ridge vs Springfield game so we have something to compare to...

They don't care, they'll play in/on:
- cornfields
- abandoned parking lots littered with broken glass
- mine fields in Iraq
- the surface of the Sun
- a tuna boat in a tsunami
- a saltwater swimming pool full of great white sharks
- top of Mt. Everest with no Sherpas
- the back of a C130 on an Afghani runway
- Flint, Michigan
- Hades
- a Lucas milking parlor
- the Hot Dog Shoppe
- Jeffrey Dahmer's living room
- Mount St Helen's on 5/18/1980
- the middle of the Sahara Desert with no water
- Jerry Sandusky's shower room

We draw the line with the last one

I'll bite, who in the region is going to bury Lowellville besides JFK and maybe/probably Lucas? Its not necessarily a ringing endorsement for Lowellville as much as the quality in the region this year. Its also not saying the Rockets may not lose to a team like Danville, Southern, or St Paul, but I really doubt they would get buried by them.

There is no doubt the region is down. That happens when you lose a CH and a Dalton. Springfield is down. NSP is down some. Danville isn't the Danville of 6-7 years ago. McDonald is young. Make no mistake, Lowellville can definitely make it to week 13. I don't think they get buried by Danville, Southern, Toronto, St. Paul, etc. They are more than likely a top 5 team. Some questions are going to get answered very soon in R25.

It happens, and sometimes teams are benefactors of it and good for them. Sometimes you get the opposite, where you have a really good team but the region is stacked. Had Lowellville had this team any of the previous 3 years they would likely be in the 5-10 range, they got lucky and very well *could* be the 3rd best team.

The one that got me was the C130 on the Afghani runway.....bahahahahahaha 😂 🤣

Time will tell who those contenders are. Come playoff time, contenders and pretenders are separated by their scheduling. Watching Lucas and JFK, they are playing chess compared to checkers. With 16 team playoff invites, teams should be challenging themselves with the scheduling, anyone with half a heartbeat will be in, why not test yourselves?

I 100% agree. You might have 6 0-10 teams in this region sadly. There are a few teams that will overwhelm the others with their physicality, frankly, because their schedule demanded it along the way. Shame on AD's and Coaches for scheduling doormats when 16 get in. If you are worried about scheduling for wins even when 16 get in, then you aren't a contender.

The dream matchup is Lucas/St. Paul vs. Lowellville at some point in the playoffs. I always like watching a clash of two styles.
That would be great. This Lowellville team is a helluva lot better than the last one we faced. Actually, that prevoius matchup may be our only ever meeting vs Lowellville.

Look at the points. Only 21 teams out of 706 have more than we do at the moment. Moggy and Rootstown will give us good points. As will Perkins and hell even Champion is winning some games. It won't be close at the end of the season.

You're probably right, especially if you beat DIII Marlington and they can string together some wins. We will need DIII Linden McKinley to keep winning...

If by chance we do face off, where will be play? Pittsburgh?

FWIW, Pasteur's harbin projections would have a 9 win Lucas finishing slightly higher in harbins than 10-0 JFK as of right now. It's close enough just a couple of level 2 games could influence it. What is going to drag JFK's score down, relative to a 9-1 Lucas, is that STA, Cleveland CC, and Marlington are going to win a combined 2-3 games.

Lucas remaining schedule...

D6 Mogadore (4-0)
D6 Ashland Crestview (4-0)
D7 Lima Central Catholic (2-2)
D3 Columbus Linden McKinley (2-1)
D7 Fort Loramie (2-2)
D7 Arlington (4-0)

This may be the toughest 6 week stretch we've EVER played. 😬
We've had a TOUGH first 5 weeks!
