I have no clue what any of these teams have coming back, but seems like South Range and Garaway are among the favorites. First time no Perry or Kirtland in the region since 2018, so it could open up a chance for a Sandy Valley or Garrettsville Garfield to finally break through.

South Range is a clear favorite. Poland and Girard will be in the mix. Garfield lost their all everything player, Keegan Sell. Garaway is always tough.

Canton CC schedule does not seem as prohibitive to Harbin points as in recent years. Massillon Perry and Mentor Lake Catholic will be tough but all other games are winnable. After that in this region maybe a dart board would help? Pretty early but just getting something out there.

Appreciate your confidence, but too many unknowns on the offensive and defensive fronts for S.R. to be considered a favorite at all. Raiders will have good returnees at the skill positions, but I believe only 2 guys return that saw significant playing time in the 'down' positions. We'll see as the season progresses.

South Range, Poland, Girard and Lakeview will bump heads in the regular season as all are in the NE8 conference.

I tweaked the preseason rankings a little this morning

Garaway may be a tough 2nd. I guess the Harbins will figure the seeding. My rankings are not based on potential Harbins but team strength. And schedule matters.

I see them losing 3 for regular season but winning the rest .

Who do Poland and Girand have returning from last year? I think Garfield will have another solid year and should win the MVAC. Favorites will be South Range and Garaway, but not sleeping on Canton Central Catholic.

South Range is favorite followed by Garaway
Then the rest
My Bulldogs will compete in play offs being d5
Question for CCC/SR fans or know alls
Why do CCC/South Range not play anymore?
That was always one I looked for score

Girard won't be the 5th best team in this region.

Are you

Are you serious? I saw them last year against Girard, and they were maybe the worst team on Girard 's schedule.
I think they were beaten up by injuries by mid year last year. Bring back a fair amount. Are well coached and brought in some transfer talent. Can’t underestimate good coaching when he has time to do so. I can confidently say with both teams last year at full strength, there is no way Girard was 40 pts better. Not a knock on Girard, but an endorsement of Lakeview.

I had not heard anything about Liberty but I saw the local news preview and they looked athletic as the skilled positions as usual. Of course it was just practice and I have not heard anything about their scrimmage.
