That's a ridiculous pin placement. No putt should ever go 4 feet past the hole and still come back down to your original putt.

Looks like the US Open. He should have Phil Mickelson'd it and hit it while it was still moving.

Good call TriangleMan, though I'm not sure there's any good spot within a couple club lengths on that awful position.

Years ago there were similar ludicrous pin placements at Scarlet and our coach told us the kid who had set the OHSAA record at scarlets dad worked at the course and didn’t want anyone to break it. Never did find out if it was true, but sure seemed like it! Let the kids play determine the outcome, not some trick play
