The Cols Dishrag put out its first Coaches poll of the season, not sure why no D II online yet but it is the Dispatch:shrug: :

Wrestling: Division I area coaches poll

I'll say this... About 4 or 5 coaches emailed me stating "How can the state duals rep NOT be number one???" (Springboro is our other rep.)

ps: My last post was the joke as I'm the one who does them. I had roughly 15 coaches email me, some with their top 5... If memory serves me correctly, all but one (maybe) had Davidson at the top spot. The bottom line is this... a) the dude can flat out coach and b) can get the most out of the most kids on his team when the time is right. Also, I think Davidson and Liberty have a dual before an OSU home match!!!

I assume this is for dual teams or is it what where teams will finish at district?

I know its early but at least it gets some discussion going!
 
Now that is excellent humor, bucksman! Well done.

I personally like dual strength for my rankings. Obviously a tough tournament would make it easier for a team with 4 HAMMERS!!! to place very high.

I reference Westerville North from 2 or 3 years ago. 0-5 in their league dual meets but 4th at Darby and 3rd in the state! Just sayin'.

I'm excited for the state duals this year. Looks like a good time. Kinda wish they'd keep this format, but, as the same time, those that qualified, do so with last year's accomplishments. One or two injuries and a move-out makes the team look a bit differentabout 300 days later.

Whatever, dude.
