Van Buren High School located in Northwest Ohio is seeking a High School assistant wrestling coach (Heavyweight preferred) and Middle School Assistant coach for the 2024-2025 season. Both are paid positions. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to help build a young program. There are teaching jobs available in the district. Lakota EAST High School is located in Southwest Ohio is seeking a High School assistant wrestling coach (lightweight preferred) and Junior High coach for the 2024-2025 season. Both are paid positions. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can add to the continuing development our program. There are teaching jobs available in the district. John Glenn High School in New Concord is in search of a Head Wrestling Coach. This position is a great opportunity to continue to build a successful and growing DII program in southeast Ohio. The team is returning 15 wrestlers, including three state qualifiers (all current sophomores), six district qualifiers, had two 2024 Freshmen State placers, and is bringing in at least five wrestlers from the junior high (including an OAC state placer and another qualifier). The room has 1.5 mats and its own locker room and coach’s office. Recently purchased three brand-new sets of singlets and a plethora of in-room workout equipment. 30-40 youth wrestlers and a growing junior high program. This program is full of potential and set up for success… It just needs the right, dedicated coach to take it to the next level! Possible teaching positions available as well. Newark has some coaching openings for the upcoming season. As of this morning, there have been 15 teaching jobs posted for different jobs across the district. There are currently 4 openings across our multiple elementary schools, 7 openings at the junior high level and 4 at the high school, all across a variety of subjects and classroom settings. Hilliard Weaver Middle School is searching for Head Wrestling Coach for the 24-25 school year. Previous coaching experience is required. Interested applicants should send their letter of interest and resume to Head High School Coach Jon Forgy at jon_Forgy@hboe.org .
