Coach Chuck Steiner

Thought there should be a spot for all to leave a favorite thought/quote/story of coach. I have never met anybody that played for coach Steiner who didn't like him. Coach was a great man who will never be forgotten. Two of GlenOaks Coaching Greats are together again, Steiner and Commings. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

I had Mr. Steiner for phys.ed. my freshman year at GlenOak, and I always loved being in his class. He was a really funny guy who seemed like he really enjoyed what he did for a living. I loved that he remembered me and would talk to me whenever I would go back to visit old teachers once I entered college.

Best wishes go out to his family. I'm sure this is an incredibly tough time for them.
