Classic predictions

I'm excited for this years Coaches Classics, times are already fast this year and this meet is usually a good indication for the final results we will see in February. The events I am excited to watch are the 200 free, 500 free, 400 I.M.. The 200 and 500 have already produced fast top times this year while also having fast depth. The 400 I.m. and the 200's stroke are always fun because we aren't used to seeing swimmers compete in those events. My biggest question is can Oakwood take down x and on the girls side does the depth of mason have a chance on competing with a stong UA team? Feel free to make your predictions on team and indv events.

I'm also excited for this meet as there is great competition in all races and the excitement at finals is a great atmosphere.

On the team competition it's tough to beat St. X. While Oakwood has some great swimmers the amount of swimmers on X that will score is just about every event is tough to overcome.

Still waiting on the beaver reek entries before I can attempt some predictions sure to go wrong

Im expecting a solid Moeller showing at classics. last year they won the relay but they did lose 4 seniors, but i think their strong leadership has filled in the gaps. theyve shown effort, attitude, and companionship in the pool and out

I agree. Sophomore Ben Love and Junior Aidan Murray are two outstanding swimmers in which nobody knows about. They could be potential factors in this weekend's classic meet.

unfortunately, Ben Love was involved in a very seirous injury. ive heard reports that he broke his shin. teenagers these days! theyre either playing video games or jumping onto passing trains. all hope for a speedy recovery!
as for aiden, CAC coach Benson Spurling has informed me that he is working much harder than last year, going to at least 3 practices a week. keep it up aiden. i am expecting big things from the CAC juniors on moeller next year :crush:

Some great swims last night at finals. Very impressed by the kids winning events without wearing a fast suit.

Looking forward to more great swims tonight.

What happened to Oakwood's Pat Mulcare? Was he sick or injured? Certainly hope nothing is seriously wrong.

I heard that he was sick...too bad as he would have given St. Xavier and Moeller a run for their money! would have loved to see him race. hope he feels beter :D
