Reunited with fists of steel Blount. I'm not sure how good he will do, seems like Steve Spurrier with Washington all over again. Leaving before the s--t hits the fan, just like Pete Carroll did.
Bad hire IMO.
This hire is making my head hurt.
Bad hire IMO.
Terrible hire. Awful
What an odd hire.
Kelly has decided to stay at Oregon.
Now hearing that Mike Sherman, who the Browns were targeting for offensive coordinator, is the leading candidate.
Good news for the Bengals. I don't think they're going to hire Zimmer in Oakland or Indy which I believe are the last head coaching vacancies left.
Would have been a good hire.
The deal is dead, Kelly is staying at Oregon. Zimmer is still in the running against Brad Childress, Marty Schottenheimer, Mike Sherman, and some others. I'm surprised Schottenheimer has been out of the league this long. He is a pretty good coach IMO. He never deserved to be fired in San Diego

Yep, he will fail miserably and Oregon will revert to being a below average Pac 12 team.
I was talking about in terms of a pure football standpoint. He has things going real well at Oregon. I definitely don't see that type of success in the NFL.Good thing for Kelly? Bad thing for Kelly, IMO. The NCAA can't punish him if he's in the NFL.

Exactly, especially when they run an offense that has not had good success in the NFL in the past.More often than not, college coaches going to the pro's fail.
