My guess is real estate broker for the Urbana campus did some due diligence and to no one's surprise found some fundamental problems with the investor's creative financing. But would be nice to know the status.

As a side note on Franklin University/Urbana, the Mountain East Conference does have a civil suit against them to collect the $150,000 conference exit fee for when the school ceased operation. That case is creeping along in Federal court - Northern District of West Virginia.

Did he say when he and Paul Holyfield would close on the sale of Urbana University? The purchase agreement was signed more than four months ago.
