Who has done a trail tour?

How many days?

How many stops each day?

Did you plan the itinerary on your own or did you use other means to arrange the stops and travel accommodations (i.e., a mini-bus)?

Is it worth it to hit some small craft distilleries?

I haven't done a tour so far, but last year, my son and I made a road trip that included a couple days in Louisville and we did the Angel's Envy tour (highly recommend it) and also stopped by Buffalo Trace, but just to shop.

I've read that if you're doing multiple tours in a day, generally limit them to 3-4 a day at the most. Any more than that and it will get monotonous after a while. And if you plan on sampling at each stop and don't have a designated driver, a tour or driver would be helpful.
