Bishop Watterson - Transfers

Last I looked, Bishop Watterson was a clear favorite in D2. I see two of their #1 ranked wrestlers have transferred to what appears to be inferior schools. Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on?

Lasalle has 2 state qualifiers returning, how would they dominate d2?
43 total points is far from dominating D2 That's if the two guys that will score points holds up, not sure Huhn beats Younger @ 150 and Woolridge is not likely top 3 @ 190 or 175

Curry and Krysty. Younger, Boyle, Lindsey all still there with a couple incoming Freshmen.
I saw a post from IHPO this past weekend that Curry (of Licking Valley) won an OT thriller in the finals. Not trying to start any gossip, just curious if maybe this was his original home school- or maybe even a misprint....or if he was indeed transferring??

All of the above. His brother was on Valley's team last season. Not sure if they actually originate from Licking Valley but that was originally where they were going to attend HS. My understanding was that Valley's coach was.... a bit upset that he wasn't attending Licking Valley. Im sure all is forgiven now, lol.

What is IHPO?
OT thriller where?
He did indeed transfer from Watterson according to borbofan (who is pretty much on point when he post transfers)

The IHPO is a pre-season tournament help in Fort Wayne, Indiana (IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open)
Is that the super 32 qualifier? If so, that is a big time tournament. Last time my son wrestled there Bouzakis and Mendes was the finals match at his weight. Ive been out of the loop for several years.

Yes one of the toughest Super 32 qualifiers. Joe wrestled for LV all the way through until High school. He has always been in the district, but went to Watterson as a freshman, he trained in cbus with Miron and then started working with Rowlands and Thatcher, now he works with Palmer, he wanted to head back to his home school district to finish out his career, great wrestler.
