Bethel Hires Andre Cokes As New Head Football Coach

Very good hire. Hearing he brought most of Wayne’s staff with him too. Mukes starting over or getting ready to leave?

Hopefully getting ready to leave, meanwhile, I'll be heading over to Huber Heights North Bethel ... Go BEES!!!!

Why are you a Mukes hater
Why are you a lover? First season, he quit the game at Olentangy Liberty before it was done. Quit! He allowed his players to smack talk with a 3-7 record. I saw the officials escort the players off the field after he left it early. He lacks discipline and his team is a reflection of it.

plus he threw players under the bus on the coaches show. Always the players fault and never his when teams lost. Did not like that the announcers questioned his in game decisions so he threatens to pull the plug on them. He made numerous mistakes that cost Wayne games including letting 20+ seconds go off the clock not once but twice in a row before calling a timeout when trailing late. Going for it on 4th down deep in your own territory in the 4th quarter when up by two scores. Not going for two after scoring a TD in the 4th quarter when trailing by 8 and end up losing by 1. Not kicking an onside kick late in the 4th qtr at Trotwood following an unsportsmanlike penalty so they were kicking off on Trotwood's 45 in a game where Wayne's defense could not stop Trotwood's run game. Allowing a player not dressed to run into the locker room and come back dressed and thrown into action with limited warmup because things are not going well. The only coach that did not support Coach Minton when they were driving him out.

3-7 .... Worst record of any Huber Heights Wayne team and worse Wayne record since 1980.
0-5 at home..... this is something that is not even possible and yet it happened

3 years at Wayne with zero "true" playoff wins..... upset at home this last season by a school they should of beaten by running clock.

I hear it from just about everyone I come across. "Mukes is a nice guy but he is not the guy for the head coaching job at Wayne."

I agree...... The way things went down the only solution was to bring someone from the outside with head coaching experience (something Mukes did not have) like they did when they brought Minton in.

The fiasco at Liberty was an embarrassment to the program and something I have never seen before. A coach leading his players off the field before the game was over..... and Wayne had the ball!!!!!!
