Best pitchers for this season..

Widner -- Morehead state
Phillips -- Somewhere but I forget
MCPeek - Lincoln Memorial
Not sure On Szpka
I'm sure that most of those underclass kids will be signed when the time comes if they do their homework :)

what about the Dayton/Southwest Cincinnati area? any of the pitchers listed above get a scholorship?(seniors)

GMC should be a good year alot of good young talent. Pretty much up for grabs.
alot of seniors graduated last year making it an interesting mix.

Southern Buckeye Conference has some strong Senior pitchers throwing this upcoming season.

Erin Conner - Clermont Northeastern
Katie Lawrence - Western Brown
Felicia Gregory - Blanchester

One of these teams will match up against Ross to get to the regionals.

i hear there is a upcoming Williamsburg pitcher
Rachel Miesberger 8th grader hitting the 55+ mark

BigguyJim

3/4 Nelson, That is great news for Williamsburg, they have struggled at that position for a long time and she will be welcomed.
The youth coming in southwest programs is improving thru numbers in travelball. Most programs in the SBC will have good pitchers replacing the Seniors after this upcoming season.

Suna - Junior - Seven Hills. Always fun when she matches up against Burlew from Cinti Christian. Small Cincy schools, but good softball.

My vote goes to Melissa Bott, She is one of the top 3 pitchers in the state. Melissa Bott has been voted All-Ohio for 2 or 3 years for Dover. She has signed to play with Bowling Green next season.

Another pitcher is Bre Wiliis a Junior at Fairless. She too has become one of the top juniors in Ohio.

My 3rd pick is a freshmen, Corey Rubright who will fight for the starting job on the mound for Walsh this spring. This girls is the real deal and she will be one of the better freshmen pitchers in Ohio!

An you can't leave off Jessica Simpson a junior from Hoover.

Also Jess Carmicheal and Andrea Arney from Dalton. What a great 1-2 punch from the mound.

JMO

Jessica Simpson is in a league that very few are in.

Green of the Suburban has a pretty good duo in junior Kayle Gatts and senior Kelly Smerkanich.

Any good freshmen coming into the Suburban??

The ITCL also has a few good pitchers to watch for....

Chelsea Peterson, Sr. - East Palestine
Erica Snoddy, Jr. - Lisbon - Plays for RoadRunners Elite
Elizabeth Srock, So. - Western Reserve - Plays for one of the Ohio Ice teams

Lake

With their new coach, how do you think Lake is going to be?

With Kerry Kaiser as the new head coach for the Blue Streaks...I think they will be a solid team (a young team)..i believe only 1 senior. Junior Mallory Harder I would imagine be the starting pitcher...could be an exciting season for the Streaks....just one thing... those vikings from NC , could be a hard team to beat!

Rock'em Blue!

Pitcher

Holly Tomaszewski- Lexington, She was the freshman that pitched against Keystone Lagrange. If you look at the results of the GFOD tourney, look at the 18 U. Played up and guess who the pitcher was for Lexington. She now has a rise ball, so watch out.

Is Rachael Burrell new to the area? If so, where did she come from? What year is she in school? What summer team does she play for? Will she replace Carli Miller as Mason's number one?

Carly is still at Mason with no plans of stepping down. Rachel is also a Senior, she pitched last year some too. Carly and Rachel will work well together. We look forward to a successful season.

Rachel Burrell is a senior and has been at Mason all four years. Miller and Burrell will provide a nice one two punch. There might be some other surprises as far pitching goes for Mason.

When Mason and Harrison faced each other last year they split. First game Mason won in a 14K shutout. 2nd game Harrison won with a gutsy play and an umpire error. I’d say “Catching Harrison” isn’t an issue, they're both good teams. “Catching Ross”, that’s a different story. Not sure many will. ERA’s are subjective, Avg K’s per inning and runs scored against tell a better story.
