Nope, I'm saying they never should have been built and that money could have been used to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the sick. Instead, for 2 thousand years, the Church is most concerned with wealth accumulation.

No idea really to your answer 1. Churches aren't a good investment. Resale value sucks, you can never get out of them what it costs ya to build em.

I think we are safe.....strong families and strong parishes up our way. With that being said, I wish our ancestors would have built three less churches.

Whatever..... I still cannot find any widespread evidence of Catholic bashing in the media. Internet searches just pull up people complaining about Catholic bashing, but no actual articles badmouthing Catholics.
