Saw Oppenheimer last night in IMAX. I’ll give it an 8/10. You really have to pay attention to the timeline because the film jumps around. I did learn a few things which is always a good thing. Probably 30-45 minutes too long.
 
Barbie's popularity boiled down to Gosling + Robbie + adult female nostalgia and little girls cosplaying. Lots of people had no idea what the movie actually was or would be about, they just saw "Barbie" and went. Anyone who fooled themselves into thinking its success was anything else is indeed a fool.

Oppenheimer was genuinely intriguing and mostly well done. It will have staying power where the Barbie movie probably will not.
