Couple highlights. Erbach just a junior closing in on 200 points. Probably happen in 2 weeks or so at her rate. Heglin, Baird and Mauch broke 100 career points. A huge milestone in HS soccer. Mauch is also just a Junior so she will continue to grow that number. Manning will probably hit 100 lifetime points in the next game or two. Pennekamp just a sophomore closing in on 100. being so young she could certainly be the next 200 point girl after Erbach in the city. Amassing 200 points is a tremendous accomplishment, just a small handful of girls have ever done that in the city. Remembering that SW Ohio has some of the best competition in the state. Off the top of my head I can only think of 4 or maybe 5 in the last 15 years to do it and we potentially have 2 playing right now. That is pretty special. I will say most if not all of the girls who have gotten over 200 points played on state championship teams, so they played more games. Though you could also say they played more games because the girls earned so many points. Be interested to see these numbers at regular season end and again after the playoffs.
