Northeast Ohio,
Tonight marked the first-ever practice for Apex Girls Wrestling, and it was nothing short of incredible! We had 22 girls, ranging from 6 years old to current college wrestlers, all in the room working hard and getting better.
The energy, effort, and commitment these athletes showed were inspiring as we kicked off the freestyle and Greco season. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see how much these girls grow and accomplish. The future of women’s wrestling in Northern Ohio is bright!
Our practice schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays 5:30-7:30pm @ Lakewood HS for Freestyle
Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm @ Lutheran West HS for Greco-Roman
Fridays 5:30-7:30pm Lakewood HS for Freestyle
Any girl that's a part of Apex is also welcome to come to Lutheran West on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 for extra freestyle practices. Let’s keep building!!
