Congrats to Tallmadge... great to see any area team in the top 10 in the state. Hey SaD, notice who's at #4 in D-II? ;)
 
Congrats to Tallmadge, a well-coached and classy team. I have to ask: Why the ew to the West Holmes team. Weren't they really good last year and supposed to be again this year?

They also beat Tallmadge (and badly at that) in the regionals last year. That's why SaD (a Tallmadge fan) would react like that to them :D
 
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, West Holmes did put it to Tallmadge pretty good. Those two teams could match up this year again, as both are doing very well so far.
 
Yep, and it'd be interesting to see if Tallmadge can bounce back from that pummeling last year and give West Holmes a run for their money like they should :)
 
they'd come closer than green would. i was going through my wallet today in government to keep from falling asleep and found the poem i wrote the volleyball players last year before the west holmes game.

west holmes you think you're good;
come saturday you'll forget your names.
cause we're gonna beat you that bad,
and we're gonna do it in two games.

undefeated means nothing now,
we'll take that status away.
cause states is where we belong,
this tourney is where we'll stay

we took care of the knights in districts; (hoban for all you uninformed)
and we're about to do it again.
say goodbye to your volleyball season;
to be a devil, is to WIN!

boys' basketball and baseball couldn't do it;
and they thought they were number one.
it's say to say don't send a man,
to get a woman's job done!

*this obviously didn't hold true and neither did the fact that boys baseball couldn't do it..!
 
K... so I never said Green would do any better... lol... and nice poem :D Too bad it didn't hold true...
