^^^^^ agree... McCarthy should at least have made 3rd team but i believe he deserves 2nd or 1st... tough calls to make i guess

I thought Corbett would have been 2nd team. Also number 11 (Jon something I think?) should have been on there somewhere. Unless his only good game was against Elder, which I find hard to believe.

Also, can someone give me some stats on Michael Green? I heard his name mentioned a few times this season but nothing that made him sound POY worthy. Again, this is from what I heard. I don't know much about him.

#11 Jon Reasoner, he had a very solid year, but picked it up alot for the playoffs.

Don't confuse these rankings with being made on any basis other than the kid's coach nominated one, or possibly two, kids from the team. This is not about which kids are best, although many listed are, this is about a coach getting one or two of his kids somewhere on the list. Think in terms of the weekly poll, while the poll makes some sense, there is also significant glaring errors or omissions.

Michael Green finished the year with 16 goals and 13 assists while playing for the number 3 team in the final state poll, I believe. He also is a u-18 national team player. I hope the debate isn't over numbers 1 and 2 because in my opinion it is no contest between Green and Miller, but are there others that come to mind?

Dwyer and not Priede?

I'm surprised that Dwyer from Summit Country day is First team and Priede is not mentioned. Priede had 31 goals to Dwyer's 11. I'm not taking anything away from Dwyer, but it is a strange omission.

Personally, I believe Dwyer is a better player and more skilled, but when Priede scores 31 goals, i think he should get some recognition in the state as he played some fantastic games. Its a tough call either way.

There are only a limited number of all state slots available for each division. How many is based upon how many coaches are members of the coaching associations - local, state and national. If only four to six slots are open for a division then the top four or six players at the local level make it to all state.

In DIII this year for the first time, three Cincinnati players made first team, usually it is only one but they expanded the first team size to 18 players this year. I agree Priede is a great player but there was some pretty good talent ahead of him in the voting who have established themselves over a longer period of their high school career.

Priede admits without Danny in the middle 31 wouldn't happen. Danny is a great player...he deserves the recognition.
