Air fryers. Yes or No.

I generally grill out all yr long but with doing more and more meal prep I'd like to find an additional option.

Air fryer....good alternative and useful?

We have one and use it every couple days. It's basically just a compact convection oven, but sometimes it's a lot easier to use than heating up the main oven. It does a pretty good job of getting things really crispy fairly quickly. I've not used it for some of the other functions, though, like rotisserie or dehydrating, which apparently ours does.

I don't like the ones with a basket as they are cumbersome to clean. I prefer the ones that are combination air fryer/toaster oven.

We have a Ninja air fryer and use it almost every day. Mostly for fries, biscuits, chicken strips, and re-heats.

I agree - I prefer the style with trays instead of the basket.

Mine is like 8 years old and I use it a few days a week if not more and it still works like new.
