SLC placed 25 players on the Texas academic all-state football teams. That's the most of any school in Texas. Players were included on four lists:

Elite
1st Team
2nd Team
Honorable Mention

SLC had 3 players on the Elite team which had 33 players total.

Congrats thats impressive.

That is what high school sports is all about - supplementing the classroom experience to build leadership and teamwork skills. The young men at SLC will be the leaders of the future. Well done.

So Elite is better than 1st team?

Nice to know that in Texas you can finish second and still be first.

I can't wait until Consumerman jumps on this.

How many MNW players you think could make a similar list in Florida?

Please do not try to laugh at these kids because they are from the hood. Its much easier to make it in the brubs than the inner city. The kids at MNW more have way more obstacles to deal with in life than the kids at SLC I would be willing to bet anything.

Oh yeah can't wait for his bizarre 8 posts in a row rant-featuring heavily loaded delusions of things that are untrue.

Can't wait.

LOL Yep.

I suppose it's like "the best", which is not as good as "the best of the best".
