Player of the Year: Hudson’s Ben Gedeon (RB/LB)
His play on the field also earned him the title of 2012 Akron Beacon Journal Football Player of the Year. The Akron Beacon Journal high school sports staff selected Gedeon and the 25-man all-star football team.
Gedeon, 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, has a scholarship to play football waiting for him at the University of Michigan.
