700 WLW Mike McConnell

Where did you get this from? I hope you didn't simply compare covid deaths to a typical year of ESTIMATED flu deaths as that would be wrong. The fact is that covid & flu deaths are measured completely differently. And when you add in the FACT that there is a financial & political incentive to maximize covid deaths (with no such motivation for the flu) comparing the two numbers is foolish.

While it will be years before we can say for sure the following consensus appears to be forming among infectious disease scientists. The worst pandemic to hit the USA in the last 100 years remains the Spanish Flu. The deadliness of the current covid pandemic looks like it will be on the order of the Asian Flu in 1958 and the Hong Kong Flu in 1969.

This means it was bad but not unprecedented and lock downs were not justified.

Sure maybe "in years" we can say for sure what we shoulda/coulda. Great.

Point remains Dotard's epically incompetent, callous, and dishonest handling is why you love him and why he lost. Oh well huh?

Enjoying very lucrative investment returns.

What are you doing, re-stocking the canned goods in the backyard "Dem takeover" doomsday bunker?

Have a great summer I know I will. :)
I like canned pears, but it's very hard to find them canned in just the juice and not the heavy syrup. Peaches you can find, but not the pears.

I have that taken care of. The food is in 5 gallon buckets.

Now WLW has had some "staged" callers. I remember 10-15 years ago when Mike was on the morning show some homosexual guy was a regular caller and he and Mike would go back and forth on just about every topic. Of course he was always in between jobs, complained about everything and wanted handouts all the time. I wish I could remember that guys name. I think he was a restaurant waiter. I think "sensable" Don was a real person, he drove bus in Cincinnati for years. Some guy named Too Sweet used to call. There was some crazy lady that called Mike all the time too.
I think Donna was the crazy lady you speak of, and she was real. Heard Mike say she passed a few years back. The guy who always told Mike "I can assure you" was the gay waiter (Nick) , he also pushed the idea of 90% tax rate on anything over 100k income, so others could share in the economy. Bus driver sensible Don still calls in on occasion. I always thought he just mirrored Mike's thoughts, so that made him sensible. There was also The Voice, he was a frequent caller in the 80's and 90's.

Bingo!! Donna!!! I think the gay waiter was Nick, or Nicholas....yep, remember the Voice. He does get some whack jobs that call in, but I've heard statistically less than 3% of listners actually call in. I call Lance quite a bit and get right in.

And who can ever forget Dick from Dayton, he actually calls in many Ohio talk shows. Works at Lowe's in Dayton, and is in a band with his banjo. Hilarious stuff!

flashback....some great callers over the years...... now you have Glen from Mason....

Richard from dayton.....
Yep, one positive and energetic guy.

I went to see him live in concert once with the Ketterimg banjo society. Was free at a local park on Sunday evening so after a half hour or so I felt free to leave.

Glenn from Mason reminds me of PROV1 with their view on life. Has anyone ever seen them together?

Haven't heard Keith from Fairfield lately. He was always a caller I enjoyed hearing his take primarily on Catholic issues such as abortion, legalized drugs, community values and porn. Was very insightful and quite well spoken.

I think it was Nick.

He was trying to get some one to argue against the million dollar lottery....instead they argue about communism and the plandemic video with the real truth they saw on facebook. "Many people are dying from the shots"
"Grandma is dying because you wont wear a mask" Happy

Getting injected with an experimental vaccine for a 1 in a million+ chance at some money is dumb.
I always like to picture in reality what that one in a million chance looks like. It's like buying 1,000 bags of chocolate chips for cookies and picking out that one chip in that one correct bag. Or walking out into a 30 acre corn field and selecting the correct stalk of corn. Or, 56,818 miles of telephone poles spaced 300'apart, you pick the correct one. Stupid odds to win at risk of health to avoid a virus that most likely wont affect you negatively unless your old, fat or have other underlying health issues.
