Perrysburg Black team was 4th with 110 points and had 10 wrestlers competing. Had 2 P'burg wrestlers in the final at 138. Blaze winning with a pin over Bauman (a junior who is 21-5 on the season and won his semi-final with a tech fall. At 106, the winner from Liberty Center beat Collin Bagdonas of P'burg in the semis, and then his twin brother Conner in the finals.

Clay gets a champion in junior Garrison Weisner. Beat Mattin in the finals on Injury at around 3:30 of the match. No idea what the score was at the time or what happened.

Weisner was up 3-2 but had just taken Mattin down and put him on his back when Mattin somehow hurt his ankle and couldn’t continue. Weisner was dominating the match prior to this and likely should have had another 3 point take down at the end of the first period that wasn’t awarded. Impressive match from Weisner, kid is tough.

did Contos every sit out his two matches for being thrown out of the Ironman. He lost his last match to kid from Florida but was also tossed for antics at the end of the match?

The ankle was injured as he was taken down simultaneously. Hope he’s alright. Weisner looks good.

Sounds like no one wants to talk about Contos or Sarabia. Perrysburg put on quite a showing with 2 teams placing in the top 4. Is this the year they buy the state championship from Ed's?

Are you forgetting MP topped them by a good margin without Seibert? And MP is ranked higher in Sports Illustrated team rankings…
