What's everyone's thoughts on next season?

I expect Ansonia, Tri-Village and Preble Shawnee will be at the top again. I know Ansonia and Tri-Village lost a good Senior group, but I expect them to re-load and still have good teams. Preble Shawnee returns the most I believe. Their QB, top RB and the Blankenship kid at WR/DB. I think he's one of the best athletes in the conference.

Then after that it gets a little harder to predict. Trail and TVS have had a couple good years, but both teams lose some good skill guys. You would think there is a chance for a team like TCN or Arcanum to get back in the mix.

1: Preble Shawnee - Bring back a ton
2: TV - Why not?
3: Ansonia - Lose a lot of good seniors, but have a ton of talent coming back
4: TVS - Lose a decent amount, but I can't see them falling below 4.
5: Arcanum - Very young last year, will be experienced
6: Trail - Lose a lot
7: TCN - No clue who they have coming back
8: Bradford - See 7
9: MV
10: Dixie

I wonder what kind of interest the National Trail job has. I think most assumed Hoffman's son Eric would just take over. I'm pretty sure he's been doing a lot of the HC type of responsibilities the last 2-3 years hasn't he?

Koogle(sp?) the OC at Preble Shawnee was just named HC at Carlisle. How does this change Preble Shawnee's offense? They have a ton coming back on the offensive side of the ball.

Any other coaching changes in the conference?

I’d say Shawnee will throw the ball a lot seeing how they have a really good QB in Morton and 3 good receivers coming back especially the Blankenship kid.

I agree, but it depends on who will be calling the plays now for the Arrows since the guy that's been there is now going to be gone

Well hopefully for them whoever calls the plays will see that they have a good passing game. Didn’t look like they had many guys graduate from the roster maybe 4-5 guys.

I'm not sure what kind of interest the National Trail job will bring in, but I'd guess there will be some. I would think Hoffman's son would have to be one of the lead candidates if he's interest in the job. National Trail has had a good junior high team the past couple of years, and they are one of the bigger schools in the WOAC. I think they should be in the middle of the pack at worst most years.

Similar tier levels in 2023 then?

Ansonia will have a better Oline than the year before. Their defense will have some holes but their offense should be fine. No work horse kid like Weiss but they have a couple really nice young backs.

Any updates on National Trail or Tri-County North jobs? I heard that National Trail is holding 2nd rounds but haven't heard any names

Hearing rumors that Trail has their next head coach. I haven't hear anything official though.

Anyone else hear anything? North?

I saw that Trail hired Eric Wolfe, who was formally the head coach at Dixie. Now Dixie is looking to fill their head coaching position.

I have not heard of any updates with the TCN or Dixie openings.

Same. I've heard some names floated around for TCN. Two of the names have coached in the WOAC/CCC previously.

I just know that he has coached at TCN in the past and that he most likely will also be the AD as well in a year or so when the current AD retires.

Divisons came out yesterday.

Arcanum is up to DV with Preble Shawnee
Dixie and National Trail DVI
Tri-Village and Twin Valley South move down to DVII with Ansonia, Mississinawa, Bradford, and Tri-County North
Tri-Village is the biggest school in DVII

Something I find funny is Arcanum was one of the leaders in getting the WOAC created because Bethel and Miami East were getting too big. Now, Arcanum is the 2nd biggest school in the league and growing.

Arcanum going to D5 is not going to go over well

>>> Arcanum is up to DV with Preble Shawnee

Any reasons for the growth in numbers in Arcanum? Developer(s) putting up new houses?
