2024 Playoffs: Longest Travel?

ghsknightsfan

love the Knights and Grey Ghosts!
Early candidate for longest travel (if it happens, which is likely):

Colonel Crawford to Monroe Central
3 hours 7 minutes
158 miles

Will any top this?

The funny thing about that is that there are players on visiting Olentangy who could practically walk home (down Orange Road) maybe a 20 minute walk, from Orange HS.
I would imagine a number of similar scenarios in Westerville and Dublin. Those boundaries seem to be drawn oddly (at least to an outsider)

Region 4, #16 Sycamore at #1 Moeller, 4.5 miles BUT... courtesy of the Sycamore Township NIMBYs not letting Moeller build a stadium on land the school owns by the school, 27.3 miles for #16 Sycamore at #1 Moeller at Mt Saint Joseph University in Delhi where Moeller plays their home games. So the Sycamore Township NIMBYs have penalized the Sycamore High School football team with a 6-times multiple driving distance penalty for this game, which ironically is the same scoring ratio expected in the game. Not quite true, CalPreps projects the score to be 62-0; Fantastic 50 only favors Moeller by 49.

So they can petition OHSAA to not have 16 teams, then they don't have to travel?????

I think 49 is the limit for Fantastic 50, I did not see any higher.
