1. Kirtland- I would say Berkshire would give them a test but I doubt it

2. Coldwater- Held Parkway to 38 yards of offense.

3. Bluffton- Waxed LCC

4. Hopewell-Loudon- Should roll this week

5. Paint Valley- Should roll again this week

6. Ridgewood- easy one this week

7. Anna- gauntlet these next 2 weeks

8. Patrick Henry- NWOAL Championship

9. Newcomerstown- Won't get tested this week

10. Dalton- Dont be looking ahead to Norwayne.

HM:

Huron- Their harder games are coming but not this week

Northmor- Have 4-2 East Knox then nobody else that's any good.

Grandview Heights- Schedule sucks.

Region 22. Bluffton is by far the best team in that region and will win it. PH, HL and Huron are in the 2nd tier then there’s everyone else. PH will probably get rolled by LC this week.

Region 23 should get a lot more interesting of the next couple weeks. Up to this point a lot of R23 have had some of the easiest schedules, and a decent amount of these teams will play each other. Meanwhile as a Mechanicsburg fan our SOS has killed us besides losing a tough game to a 6-0 D4 team we really haven’t been challenged. But that will change with 4-2 Fairbanks this upcoming week and then rival West Liberty Salem where West Liberty should be going into that game 6-1 and then @ Northeastern who could very well be 6-2 when they meet Burg. Gonna be a fun couple of weeks!

Lot of tough teams. I think Coldwater vs ML will tell what CW has. Because in all reality no one is even close to ML at this point. That being said if the Cavs can play with ML then its on.

1. Coldwater - Cavs’ wins continue to look better & better.
2. Kirtland - 65 points vs. Fairview. Berkshire looks stronger & faster this year. Might be a good game.
3. Bluffton - The Pirates have beat the two best teams they’ve played so far by a combined score of 77-0.
4. Anna - Impressive running clock win. Perhaps some momentum heading into Versailles before facing…the MIGHTY MIGHTY Marion Local Flyers.
5. Dalton - That Norwayne game in two weeks will determine whether they’re a 2 seed or a 5 seed come the playoffs.
6. Patrick Henry - If the Patriots are able to keep it within two scores vs. Liberty Center this week, I consider that a great thing!
7. Northmor - After great wins over Centerburg & Danville, they won by 13 over Fredericktown, which is a closer margin than what I’d have anticipated.
8. Huron - A gritty 9-6 win vs. Port Clinton. Guessing both offenses had their struggles.
9. Ridgewood - Once again, the Generals allowed 7 points, which is simply unacceptable. Just kidding…again. Another running clock win. Now the tough part of their schedule kicks in.
10. Hopewell-Loudon - 9-point win vs. Margaretta surprised me to some extent. That Week 10 game vs. Calvert shapes up to be a good one as it stands now.

I get what your saying, but Marion is just unique this year. Even if Coldwater should go down 48-21 to Marion, what that means I'm not sure. Marion Locals kids will be going into the playoffs having played what 5 and 1/2 or 6 games as far as time on the field is concerned?

I used 48-21 because that's about as close as I think Coldwater could get to them even if they are D6 top of state. It could be a lot uglier score than that and still not mean Coldwater is not right there with the best. Will anyone keep Marion from putting a running clock on them?

Report is out that QB from Kirtland broke his wrist. Is that true? If so, what now?
4 to 6 weeks - will be ready in time for the playoff games that matter. The way the playoffs are set up 1 plays 16 and so forth - the first two rounds are normally not very competitive.
