I read that East Central only threw the ball something like 3 times the entire game vs. Moe.
Are the Ignatius faithful calling for the return of Chuck Kyle yet?

No, the program has been going downhill for years. Kyle or not, the schedule vs. the talent spell disaster.

This Ignatius team is likely going 2-8.

Lakota West opened the season with their 2 toughest games of the year in StX and Princeton, losing both and scoring 3 points total

The highly touted freshman QB from Arcanum, Ohio with offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Florida, NC State and Notre Dame started both games

His stat totals were 18 for 42 (42%) for 135 yards (7 yards per completion), 0 TDs, 4 INTs and 4 sacks, QB rating 49.

Bolden turned the offense over to a junior against a winless Fairfield team and LW won 33-0 as the junior was 9 for 10 for 182 yards and 2 TDs

Looks like Tommy didn't think this one through.

When X put this schedule together I'm certain they did not think their opponents would be 26-21 at this point in the season and Withrow would be their biggest Harbin cow....odd season.

King (1-3)
McCallie (5-0)
Withrow (4-1)
Elder (3-2)
Louisville Trinity (2-3)
LaSalle (4-1)

The outdated notion of a "Harbin cow" is irrelevant in the current playoff scheme (which presupposes it actually even ever was a legitimate concept in the first place-- which I doubt); nearly every team that wins a few games in Ohio Division I is going to be in the playoffs (as they SHOULD BE)--it just doesn't matter whether a team beats teams with good record or bad records-- win 4-5 games and your team WILL be in the playoffs...
As for X making out the schedule to gain easy Harbin points, that is probably the last thing on Specht's mind-- his whole goal is to challenge his team with the best possible competition that he can schedule-- there are umpteen (allegedly) good teams nearby in Ohio that Specht would schedule in a minute, if they would only agree to play X-- but they won't-- so, he is reduced to taking games in Chattanooga and Detroit and Louisville (and Indianapolis and Chicago, etc.), to get 10 games on the schedule-- NOT to seek "easy" Harbin points. Specht's whole goal is for his team to "get better" by playing the best competition available, with the side preference for local games that players' families and fellow students can attend easily (and that also put less of a burden on his players to make LOOOONG bus trips to remote games, as well as less of a burden on X's athletic department's travel budget).

My point was it's odd seeing so many historically successful teams with average to below average records.

Harbin point still matter. Less than they did at one time, but they still matter for home field and seeding purposes. Im sure X would rather not be the visiting team against Elder, Moeller, etc. in the first round of the playoffs

Hey ReJect, let me help you out here. Between Withrow and Elder insert: Moeller (4-3) beatdown St X (20-10); next 10/6 another Jesuit lackey. :ROFLMAO: GBM 💪 🏈

I see the new coaching staff picked up right where the previous corrupt staff left off.
Personal fouls, running up the score, no end of the game hand shake ad nauseaum
The Evil Empire is a tired worn out act and nobody wants your team and supporters in their stadiums
The Faustian bargain Fuzzy made in the 60's marches on in perpetuity because no one who supports Moe inside or out is embarrassed by the methods and behavior

Bitter much?

Moeller didn't run up the score Reject. The Empire is dominating the GCL-South for the second straight year. Go have lunch with Specht this week and remind him that the name of the game is to outscore your opponent which means you need to score TOUCHDOWNS. GBM!!!

The longtime Elder regime were the ones who had no manners in the handshake line- watch the broadcast. That wasn’t running up the score by any measure- get a grip

This 👆.
He did not, and will not watch to see and judge for himself. He would had far more credibility if he could remove just some of the hate he has for every single school, minus X.

I think when it's all said and done, it's about the luck of the match-up vs. trying to get the highest seed possible.

I'd venture to guess teams would much rather see a Princeton or Milford in Round 2 vs. Moe, X or Elder, all of which will be lower seeds. The match-up is way more important than the seed.

The purple boys like to censor their dirty laundry.

It's all part of their holier than thou approach to protecting the establishment over there. It's not a coincidence the Moe game is the only game-video not posted. Y'all think I'm crazy, but it plays out time and time and time again.

And one of the coaches they did it to was an Elder alum, who's last name is all over the stadium. You think they would treat Austing that way? No, because Austing is part of the connected crew of buds over there.

It was a drastic over-reaction to a game that was 31-7 at the time. Please.

The Elder folks are good people.
From Ramsey down to pboy, they're honest, hard working upstanding individuals that would never lie or engage in inappropriate behavior.
Mormons got nothing on them
Now the Evil Empire on the other hand, and it's imps, flaming ministers, household goblins, rural demons, bogles, sprites, birdogs and fairies of all sorts is a different story

Where can I watch the video? It's scrubbed from the internet
I mean- I have it recorded on my phone, but not sure I am hosting a watch party anytime soon…
It was pretty jaw dropping to watch- total rage oozing out at a first year coach getting a huge win after a rough start and an alum. Expect it from roidy Castner, but was stunned to see such bad behavior from Ramsey

How did the 2 Moe coaches respond? Did the other assistants on both sides exchange handshakes?

Is there bad blood with Acito? He's been at Moeller for a long time and the name is held in very high regard at Elder. Wonder if he ever wanted to coach at Elder.

Just post the video here. Would love to see the purple posse rationalize it with their nonsense. They'd probably send you a cease and desist to protect the establishment.
