2023-24 Ohio State Basketball

Solid addition. 135 career games with 90+ starts and a lot of tournament experience. Good defender that improves their length at the 2 and 3 spots. Not going to wow you with scoring, but career averages of over 50% from 2pt, 33% from 3pt, and 75% from the line.

That is big for a guard and he keeps the other team from scoring. He has better number than Mahaffey and he started all season at the 3 spot. So they have improved at the 3 spot.

A solid guy that could replace Mahaffey in the starting lineup but very good player off the bench.

He isn’t going to be playing guard though, he’s going to be the 3 which is a forward.

Exactly so the fact that Mahaffey was a starter and Parrish is the same size and had better stats for a Final Four team would indicate his commitment makes the Bucks better.
Now if they can be able to get Walters, look out.

How many more scholarships do they have to offer? Gone are Key, Battle, Hardman, Gayle, Middleton
 
Apparently did not want to compete with Bradshaw for the center position. Poster on EW forum predicted this yesterday he took a lot of heat for saying so, but you can quickly find out who the posters that have inside info and who pretend to have such.

It could be safe to conclude Bradshaw is better than Okpara.
Thornton will be better
Royale will be better
Mahaffey should be better
Parrish is better than Mahaffey
Meechie is a better scorer than Gayle

Now they have an additional scholarship to work with. I think that gives them 2 open scholarships.

The guard play next season will definitely be better, experience does make a difference. OSU will not likely be able to replace Battle's scoring but Thornton and Meechie will likely avg. 14 - 16 ppg. OSU has two scholarships to hand out. This is todays CBball, Duke has lost 7 players to the TP.

I agree with this. Rosters are constantly in flux, and it's really hard to build quality roster depth. You have to constantly be recruiting your own roster and the portal.
