Welcome to the 2022 version of the Summit County Viking Memorial Pick 'em. For the newbies, the pick ‘em is named after North Viking, a Yappi and JJ Huddle poster that ran the pick ‘em for many years before his way too early and untimely passing in 2015.
I will again try to come up with 14 games a week for the regular season. Be patient if your team does not make the weekly slate as there are many games to choose from in some weeks. Each game is worth a point. Each week, there is a Game of the Week with the total points of the game being the weekly tiebreaker. At the conclusion of the season, the top person in points wins the regular season title. We then do a pick ‘em for the playoffs and crown a playoffs winner and overall winner. I try to avoid Thursday and Saturday games when possible, but head’s up- SVSM/Glenville in week 1 is a Thursday nighter. Pickers get dropped from the season standings if they miss consecutive weeks.

Buchtel at North Canton
Tallmadge at Brecksville
Solon at Hudson
Woodridge at Revere
CVCA at New Philadelphia
Collinwood at North (in honor of North Viking!)
Copley at Twinsburg
Wadsworth at Barberton
Nordonia at Bedford
Stow at Cuyahoga Falls (a rare gimme)
Mogadore at Field
Ellet at Green
Game of the Week- pick a winner AND total points (tiebreaker):
Glenville at SVSM (total points)- THURSDAY NIGHT
