In the men's HJ, both athletes were asked about the jump-off. Barshim asked the official if they could share the gold. He was told yes, so he asked Tamberi, and they both agreed not to continue. Great sportsmanship, and wise decision given both have come back from devastating injuries and aren't interested in doing so again so late in their careers by continuing while tired.
