Agree. Thought Payne looked like a bowling ball when ran over a defender and knocked his helmet off. I saw Stockman playing some WR, and Kiessling some TE, so expect some double duty for those two as well.
Bowling ball with big collisions is not what we need from Payne. We need both backs healthy and unnecessary big collisions although good for a testosterone boost are not good for his longevity. The passing game has been less than impressive thus far so we definitely need everyone especially both backs to stay healthy. The passing game will come with time, we just have to be patient and take what the defense gives us rather than looking for the big play at all cost. Just move the chains.
