HARTFORD CLASSIC WRESTLING TOURNAMENT
Dear Coaches and Athletic Directors,
This is the fifth year for the Hartford Classic Tournament. As you all know we have always explored ways to improve the tournament. We have decided to make the tournament a two day event, added electronic scoring and live online brackets, an optional wrestling clinic Saturday morning, and one of the greatest coach’s room in Ohio. Please email Coach West at
west_j1@ccsdistrict.org if you would like to be entered into the tournament.
When: Friday, December 13, 2013 @ 5:00P.M. & Saturday, December 14, 2013 9:00A.M
Where: Hartford Middle School 1824 3rd St SE, Canton, Ohio 44707
Time Schedule: TBD
Tournament Format: 16 team’s individual double elimination each wrestler is guaranteed two matches. We are going to allow extra wrestlers to fill out the brackets. If there are more extra wrestlers for a weight class than there are openings, we will draw for position. Rosters will be submitted electronically. I will email login credentials to coaches and AD’s on December 9, 2013. Final rosters must be submitted no later than December 11, 2013 at 1:00P.M.
Team Entry Fee: $275.00 Tournament, Admission: Adults= $5.00 Students $2.00
Mats: Four (4)
Awards: 1st-6th place, 1st-4rd place team trophies, and tournament MVP
