Any predictions for Ned Reeb, psych sheet should be out soon, bummer that the St. Francis kids are down at Juniors for the most part...some other kids missing because of ACT's in the morning but still should be a good weekend! I believe UA boys and girls won last year, can they repeat?

University won the boys side last year, but UA should win this year.

If I recall, it was about a point or two separating them last year. I saw a psych sheet today and UA looks very solid. US, has some senior holes to be filled. It is too bad that SF is not bringing the fastest guys. Good to see D1 and D2 swimming head to head.

From the psych sheets it looks like a 2 team race for the championship between UA & University. Iggy, Solon & Louisville Trinity look to be battling it out for 3rd. Unless they move up alot from the seed times SC will be out of the top 4 for the first time in 10 or 12 years. Looking forward to some great swims Saturday.

fast ned reeb yesterday, ua swam really well for this time of year especially with jelen and rabe not swimming individually, depietro, long, decker all looked great!

What a fun meet this last week end. I really enjoyed the B Flight. Hope they continue that next year and if so that it is better attended. It looked like Worthington & Wellington had meets that drew swimmers who might otherwise enter the B Flight meet. Maybe those schools will find another date for those meets if the B Flight continues. It's a wonderful chance for less talented swimmers to swim in a world class facility. Since other than the district meet there is not another chance to get into OSU during the high school season, the B Flight is an excellent way to expand the opportunity to swim at OSU. I would suggest that meet organizers set entry up as a "slower than" time cut (like the UA Invite) using the A Flight cut off time. If they added and did the same with relays perhaps not limiting the number of relays from a team that may expand participation as well. To further encourage participation the meet organizers could bring a heat back for the night time finals. That might also discourage coaches from entering swimmers in the A Flight who don't have the cut time. Just some thoughts on how to give teams incentive to swim in the B Flight. I remain hopeful that more teams will use the UA Invite at the end of the season to give their less talented swimmers a chance to experience a championship meet atmosphere.

By the way preeder did a nice job on the announcing Saturday. Especially enjoyed the commentary during the finals about the swimmers and the urging on when a meet record was being challenged.

First, thanks for the comments, I am trying to improve each meet and really enjoy the atmosphere at the OSU meets (Ned Reed and Central Districts).

Regarding the Worthington JV meet, this was a bit of a surprise to me as well, this is not a Thomas Worthington High School organized event, it was started last year as a JV meet for non-Ned Reeb swimmers by the management at Worthington Pools. Since the B flight at Ned Reed was a first time "trial" event, Worthington kept the JV meet on the schedule. I would expect that the Ned Reeb will have the B flight again next year and Worthington will not have the JV meet.
