Coach Jim Noall at Div. IV Elms has compiled one of the toughest schedules around IMO. I think we are scheduled to play schools from 10 different Ohio counties. It's loaded with DIV. I schools and there are also several former state champs on here. But the philosophy is you have to play the best to improve and be the best.

The team has 8 players returning from last year's 10-10 team and no seniors in 2007. We also have 13 new underclassmen on the pre-season roster. With the ten wins last year, we matched the total of wins at the school for 2003, 2004, and 2005 combined. Should be fun.

Come out and say hello if you can get out to an Elms' game. All home games at the Elms' fields on Ira Rd. in Bath.

I'll see what I can do, fpark. My boss at Elms, Coach Noall, is the director of the tourney. I'll maybe check this weekend to see if he has all the final match-ups and post them in a thread next week.

I know as recently as last week it changed a little and we will play Streetsboro now rather than Kent Roosevelt. I also know that teams from outside Summit County will be involved this year wheras in the past it was exclusively Summit County teams.

I was told Mentor will be here, too. Whether they are still involved, I don't know. I also know it is a 16-team tourney this year with 4 flights while in the past it was more like 20 or 24 teams. Also, last I heard, Norton and Hudson are in the same flight but that's all I know so far about any other games.

I'll also see if I can get a complete Firestone Stadium high school schedule posted because he also helps with availabilty of the stadium and scheduling games like the annual Hoban-STV-STM match-up, etc. It would be great to know which other reg. season games are taking place and when over there.
