Basketball Fans,

Joint us on Saturday, December 17th at Massillon Washington High School for our 4th annual Hall of Fame City Hardwood Classic. We are a local charity organization and our very proud of what we do. We raise money through the sport of basketball, and each year we give away a scholarship to 1 senior on each participating team! That senior could be a player, manager, scorekeeper, or any senior associated with the team!

While the past couple of years have been challenging with the Covid situation, we have been successful in putting on this event each year! Now with Covid more under control than ever, we are poised to continue to grow. Please come out and support the kids in our local area. Get your friends and come out and watch some basketball. We primarily support Northeast, Ohio Schools. The more money we raise, the more we can give away! While there are other events that might feature higher profile matchups, they are doing it to make money. We feature good local matchups and raise money to give it away to the kids! An $8 ticket gets you in to as many games as you care to watch. You can even leave and come back later as long as you get the appropriate stamp or wrist band (ask at the ticket table upon entrance).

Our schedule is:
12:15 N.C. Hoover vs. Ashland
1:45 Canton C.C. vs. Akron Ellet
3:15 Akron Hoban vs. GlenOak
4:45 Lake vs. Dalton
6:15 Louisville vs. Mentor
7:45 Massillon vs. Coventry

-1st Game-

North Canton Hoover——78
Ashland————————49

Louisville leading Mentor 26-24 @ halftime. Overall poor shooting, sloppy play. I keep thinking Mentor will open up a comfortable lead but Louisville keeps answering. Louisville's top player Aljancic getting plenty of open shots but only has 4 points .

Just asking I didn’t know much about Ashland or Ellet. I thought Dalton was supposed to be really good this year?
Dalton's without their 2 best players for now due to injury or suspension.

Yesterday was a great day of basketball and we were thrilled to give away $6,000 to local kids! We'll be out watching basketball over the next couple of months as we finalize our schedule for next year. A big thanks to all those that attended, and especially to our sponsors. None of this would be possible without ALL of you!!
