Jacobs might handle all the kicking duties. He punted pretty well in the Mentor playoff game and got pretty good distance on his kickoffs. He probably won't get 50 percent of his kicks into the end zone, as Benedict did.
Pat Rongers was the JV punter last year, and did a decent job. I wouldn't be surprised to see a kid come over from the soccer team to serve as Jacobs' heir apparent. Solon usually gets its kickers from the soccer team. The freshman team didn't even use a placekicker.
