Kinda performative and worthless legislation. Under the bill, OHSAA could charge $15 to everyone cash and card, and $14 to students, and it’d be legal. Doesn’t actually solve the alleged problem.
The recently passed state budget now requires high schools to accept cash sales for athletic events. Doesn’t apply to OHSAA tournament games (by accident, not by design).
