Barberton should be decent this season. They have an experienced pitcher, which should help them. Not sure if they can catch Tallmadge, Aurora, and Highland.

Tallmadge, Aurora, Highland and then any mix of the other 5 with Revere, Barberton, and Copley the better of the bottom 5.

The SLA is loaded this year (almost every team returns their starting pitching and core lineups), but it's hard not to see Aurora winning the title again in a tight race. They return almost everybody and have the best pitcher in the league. And, while Tallmadge returns quite a bit as well (and all due respect to their title run last year), they lose a couple key pieces in the lineup. I expect Highland, Revere and Copley to battle for the next tier again, with Barberton and Falls behind them. Roosevelt at the bottom.

Predicted order of finish:

1. Aurora
2. Tallmadge
3. Highland
4. Revere
5. Copley
6. Barberton
7. Cuyahoga Falls
8. Kent Roosevelt

I expect multiple of these teams to make a serious run at district titles.

Aurora is loaded this year. Both Aurora and Tallmadge should make alot of noise in the state tournament. Both should be ranked in the top 10.

Highland could be the spoiler.

At Ripken in South Carolina:

JV: Tallmadge 16, Elk Lake (PA) 0 (3 innings)

Looks like Tallmadge's JV is going to be dominant again.

Tallmadge 23
Kent Roosevelt 0 (5 inn)
