Former show contestants are requesting an apology after a “Jeopardy!” winner allegedly flashed a gesture that has become associated with certain hate groups.

A group of former show participants penned an open letter published to Medium on Wednesday condemning incidents on the game show.

“A recent contestant has caused concern among ‘Jeopardy!’ viewers for two separate occurrences, and we as former contestants feel the need to speak out against the messaging that these choices communicated — either intentionally or unintentionally — by the contestant Kelly Donohue and, implicitly by association, the producers of ‘Jeopardy!’” they wrote.

And the drumbeat of stupidity continues with the supposedly "smart" contestants on Jeopardy. Maybe they should look inside themselves for why they see things that aren't really there...

Saw this yesterday...extremely dumb and people looking for issues that aren't there. The day before this he held up two fingers to signify 2 wins. This was for 3. People need to chill out.

Anyone see the story about the Cincinnati Reds not putting up the K for the third strikeout until the fourth strikeout is recorded? This is in an effort to prevent the strikeout scoreboard from ever reading KKK. once they get to 11 strikeouts its free pizza at Larosa's.

If the guy was oblivious to his making a sign, and the editors of the show were unaware of it, then how many people who watched would have any clue?

Whoever noticed it should be made to apologize for knowing such signs exist. Patently stupid.

Here’s a guide to help everyone not be racist like jeopardy guy
