I do believe Stefanski is coaching for his job, and for good reason, but what we have seen the past couple games can’t really be blamed on him…or even Berry. What we are seeing today is why bad teams stay bad. John Dorsey had the 1 and 4 picks in the draft and came out of it with Mayfield and Ward. So to compete with Burrow for the next decade you know you need an elite QB. You blew several chances to draft one, so you find one available through very unusual circumstances and rightly pulled the trigger to get the franchise QB. But now you have to live through getting him back up to speed this year, all because of previous draft failures…especially Mayfield.

Yes, but also a dumb play call. Why all the trickery on a pass play for a QB that hasn’t played in two seasons? Just play it straight up until he can handle more.

The season was over when Goodell overruled the six game suspension, but now at least any hint of playoffs is officially over and they can focus on getting Watson back to form over the last four games. That’s all that’s left and it’s vitally important.

To me this is one of the main reasons I don’t want Stefanski back next year. He will not stay true to the run game and too many games end with the NFL world wondering why Chubb got so few carries.
