First. Jobs are not unfilled because nobody wants to work. You can‘t blame the Trump/Biden enhanced unemployment forever. It has mostly run its course. Are container ships sitting at sea because we have a labor problem? No. We are processing 50% more containers per day than ever before. It’s demand driven inflation numnut. Finally, higher labor costs will also raise prices but that is not what started this train.

The US labor force peaked in February 2020 at 164.2M. In September 2021 it was 161.5M so as we come out of the pandemic, we are at 98.5% of the all time high. Not too shabby. Further, the participation rate is actually higher in September 2021 at 61.4% compared to 61.2% in the same period last year. Obviously, this data shows that the labor crunch is not because everybody is sitting on their a** like you frauds like to lie about.

Unemployment is never at 0% and nor do you want it to be. Ideal is about 4.5-5.5%.

By the way it doesn't take millions to walk off their job to cause a catastrophe. That can be done with about 50,000 to 100,00 workers in a few specific work force disciplines. That's not a hard number to achieve.

Key word government. If the company does not like the vax requirement, they can stop doing business with the federal government or if you don’t like it, get another job. There are 10M of them out there. Anybody sitting on their because they won’t vax is nothing but a lazy a**.

BS. Most mandates that affect people on a daily basis are instituted by private institutions. Further, those instituted by public organizations are mostly state and local vs federal.
