Worst Ohio HS FB stadiums

Another thread has the best stadiums, how about the worst
Old Highland stadium- bad parking, lumpy grass, away bleachers next to a cow pasture with cows. It smelled like you know what. Thankfully they replaced it with a new stadium.

Byers field in Parma. The aesthetic of a prison. Restrooms are a hike from away side since there are none on the away side. Because of orientation of the field it is like playing in a wind tunnel.

Before they built their new stadium, Carrollton's football stadium was in the middle of the infield of the Carrollton County Fairgrounds...you crossed the racetrack to get to it....the coaches box for the away team was in the roof of the cover for the grandstand....you walked out on 2 planks to 6 planks strung together with two wires and then a thin bar about 3 ft up going around it to keep you from falling into the fans....then you went in under the grandstands at halftime where they stored boats...then drove back to the school after the game so the team could shower and change

Ravenna Southeast..they've recently upgraded home bleachers but the visitor side sits on a hill. You almost feel like you are in western PA!! No aisles so if you are stuck in middle good luck trying to get out. Visiting players have a hike to locker rooms and when they appear it looks like they are coming out of the woods!! Always either, windy, raining or cold and snowing....but great concessions!!

Current stadium, Lockland and Western Hills (West High), past stadium Taylor and Western Hills (West High).

West high somehow managed to completely mess up redoing their new stadium. Yes it's turf, but that is literally where positives stop.

The Rubber Bowl was a great stadium to play in but when it had the old AstroTurf, It was the worst playing surface I ever set foot on. The crown in the field was awful. If you stood on one sideline you couldn’t see the feet of players on the other sideline. Might as well played on the runway of the airport next door.

Does West High actually play varsity games at their current field?

Mathews. Not sure if it's ever been rehabbed, but that old wooden stadium felt like it was constructed with angle iron and rotting 2x8s.
According to the Trib, this is supposed to be addressed:

Definitely long, long overdue... thankfully, no one ever got hurt from those partially condemned stands.

Remember, this is also a district that can't/won't pass a levy to replace an over 100 yr old high school building.

Buckeye West (closed now) located in Adena and known as The Pit,fans would line the streets and pelt the visiting buses with garbage and insults, the “stadium” had a working bar directly behind the home stands, the visitor stands had railroad tracks just feet behind them. The field consisted of dust or mud and rocks with the back corner of one endzone 7 feet higher than the rest of the field,we always sent our tallest receiver to that corner.
All this said,it was a fantastic atmosphere for high school football.

I honestly can’t think of any. There have been some generic/aseptic ones, but nothing I would deem terrible.

They have visitor restrooms at Byers located at the front of the bleachers. Down the stairs below grade.

Looking at the map, for that size school ...... it looks pretty darn nice.
Nexus gas pipeline is in like 60% of the school district....here is what else they are getting

They were going to build a pool but the owners of the gas line want to reduce to what they agreed to pay....but they did reduce property taxes.

"Herman told the Board that this request was filed on Dec. 6th, the last allowable date for Rover to file, and that this was one item that Rover had advised in their public meetings to gain support for the building of the pipeline, that they would not do."

Mass. has a fine facility that is marred by inebriated patrons.
I think it might be those folks' natural speech patterns that makes them so ripe for scientific evaluation.
