My opinion on casinos remains the same. Generally they are awful places to be.

I go for fun a couple times a year. If you go in expecting, hoping, or worse, needing to win, you're going to be disappointed most of the time.

Why anyone plays slots is beyond me, worst odds in a casino. In particular the idiotic Wheel of Fortune slot machine has been called out as really bad. If intimidated by playing a table game at least do video poker, it may not have that huge jackpot pay out and you kind of just chug along but at least you give the casino time and get more credit to comps.

But of course the best game with regards to odds, straight black jack, now has the fewest tables in a casino. Finding an open spot at a craps pit is also tough because the pass line with odds is just as good as black jack.

You are telling me 000 roulette isnt good odds for the player? Lol

Before Ohio got powerball I got a ticket in Indiana, was only a 15 mile drive.

Big jackpot.

Didnt win.

Went again.

Check numbers, had all of them right but the powerball.

Called, and they said that would mean 100K!

So, all day I thought I won 100k, figured 50K after taxes. Probably had 25K spent in my mind during the day.

Drove to Indiana, looked at the ticket one more time, and it was from the previous drawing.


I was devastated! Did get the PB number right, so got like a couple of bucks.

GOodbye 100K, I barely knew ya.

Not only is there less tables for blackjack, you have max 3 players per table. Everybody standing around waiting for an opening.
