I dont know if many Hoover people know how great of a tradition that we have been lucky to have in cross country. It seems as if not many people care about the success they achieve, or at least have the knowledge of it. These boys have made me proud to support Hoover, especially being STATE RUNNER-UP in 2005 after being doubted by many. I know football rules, but at least give these boys the respect they deserve.

I think it is great how well the boys CC did this year AND in years past. It's not that people don't care about the CC teams, but it is not as popular a sport as football.

Congrats to the CC team on a great showing at States.
 
Congrats to the Cross Country team.

When ever a Hoover team does well, all of Hoover has a sense of pride.

We are certainly proud of the accomplishments of this year's Cross Country team.

Just found out today that all of the varsity guys got a mention for all-county and all-federal league. Congrats to all of them: seniors Jimmy Eberts, Josh Runner, Bryan McIntyre, juniors Chad Kostelnik, Kyle Roshak, sophmores Nick Stroemple, and Adam Stackpole. Good luck to the seniors with running or college, and it will be fun to watch this younger group as their careers go on.
