who made playoffs a few years back @3-7??

Who does a team have to play during the season to go 3-6 and MAKE the playoffs? I find it kind of strange that THOSE teams make the playoffs, yet some schools that finish 8-2 or 9-1 miss the postseason entirely!

In Walsh's case, all 9 of their opponents made the playoffs. Two of the three wins came against D1 schools, of which one went 8-2 and the other was 9-1. Couple that with a really weak Region 5 that year -- 3 of the 8 teams were 7-3, the 5th seed was 6-4, the L2 points of the 1 seed were the same as the L2's for the 5th-6th seeds in the other regions -- and you have the perfect storm for a 3-6 team making the playoffs.

A team with a losing record usually gets in because they play teams that WIN!if they win the right combination they can get in with a little luck.

Teams that go 9-1 or 8-2 that don't get in are teams that play teams that lose.Usually when half the teams you schedule or more are 2-8,1-9. Or 0-10.Plus the teams they beat lose as well you are probably in trouble.Thats why teams like Buchtel or Glenville schedule tough ooc games.
