I agree 100%, sad nonetheless. And even sadder still is there are so many more heading down this path and there is so little we can do for them. Wasted lives, lost potential.

Interesting story. I like the quote, by an EXPERT - "This child is on a path that's unhealthy. It has nothing to do with race or ethnicity"

If this little kid ends up owing money to the wrong people, like the woman shot dead in the street, it probably won't matter what race he is. That's true enough. He's being raised in an atmosphere of gang violence. He could end up driving away in the maroon Impala, too...
 
sad indeed , but was not a surprise ending unfortunately ...SW Lips lost a BIL to this drug (OD) ....once it has you in its grips ....it will never let go until jail, death, or in some cases a person rally's their way out of it ,but not too often
